Welcome to the Greater El Paso CCIM Chapter!

A CCIM is a Certified Commercial Investment Member of the CCIM Institute. For more than 50 years, the CCIM Designation remains the gold standard for commercial real estate professionals, including appraisers, asset managers, brokers, developers, investors, lenders, and other allied professionals. Through the CCIM Institute's Designation Program, CCIMs earn their CCIM pin by completing a rigorous program of advanced coursework and training in financial and market analysis, and demonstrating extensive experience in the commercial real estate industry. Above all, the CCIM Designation represents proven expertise in financial, market, user, and investment analysis, as well as negotiations. With this real-world education, CCIMs help minimize risk, maximize the return on investment, optimize the value of real estate, make better informed decisions, and develop a comprehensive commercial real estate strategy. Since 1967, more than 20,000 professionals have completed the core Designation program. Today, fewer than 10% of commercial real estate investors and advisors have earned a CCIM pin.

The CCIM Institute, together with its global network of over 50 chapters comprised of local market experts, offers ongoing education and professional development beyond its Designation Program through its Ward Center for Real Estate Studies, access to industry-leading tools, and platforms that connect and enhance the success of commercial real estate professionals regardless of specialty, which is the institute's mission.

The Greater El Paso CCIM Chapter is one of over 50 global chapters of the CCIM Institute comprised of the most educated and experienced commercial real estate professionals in the El Paso/Las Cruces/Cd. Juarez region. The El Paso CCIM Chapter is one of the few chapters with multiple board members currently holding leadership positions within the national CCIM Institute board and within multiple CCIM Institute committees. The local chapter's leadership is committed: (i) to ensuring the region is represented and actively contributing to the institute's Mission and Vision, and (ii) to providing the region access to exclusive initiatives and opportunities that advance the local CRE industry.

The Greater El Paso CCIM Chapter's initiatives are aligned with the institute's pillars of: Networking, Education and Technology. Throughout the calendar year, the chapter provides multiple opportunities and platforms for networking, education and technology for individuals and companies across many specialties in commercial real estate, such as: brokers, property managers, developers, investors, appraisers, lenders, architectural and engineering firms and title companies. Some of the chapter's many events include: local traditional classroom-led course offerings within the CCIM Designation Program and Ward Center for Real Estate Studies catalog, short sessions on CRE topics like 1031 Exchanges and Site To Do Business (STDB) tools, monthly luncheons with local and/or national key note speakers, annual summer events, like 2022's CCIM Cheers & Beers event and Casino Night.
